Celebrating Our Local LGBTQ+ Legends
“Meet the amazing organisations, fan groups & community champions making Leicester proud.”

The Leicester Wildecats
Formed in 1996, Leicester Wildecats are one of the UK’s oldest LGBTQ+ inclusive football teams, dedicated to breaking down barriers around gender, sexuality, and race in the sport. We champion equality, diversity and inclusivity on and off the pitch, welcoming players and supporters of all backgrounds and abilities. From casual Tuesday kickabouts and competitive GFSN League matches to friendly tournaments, socials, Prides and big nights out, we’re a true family. As founding members of the GFSN, our proud achievements include multiple league and tournament wins, IGLFA world champions in 2008, and six consecutive GFSN 5-a-side titles.

Foxes Pride
Foxes Pride is the official LGBTQ+ supporters group of Leicester City Football Club, bringing together LGBTQ+ fans and allies to share their love of the game in a safe, welcoming space. We’re all about tackling discrimination, championing inclusion and making sure everyone feels they belong — whether in the stands at the King Power, out at local events, or marching together at Pride. From matchday meet-ups to social gatherings and community campaigns, we’re proud to stand loud, proud and blue.

Trade Sexual Health
Trade is a Leicester-based charity supporting the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ communities. From free, confidential STI testing and safer sex resources to mental health support and vibrant community projects, Trade is here to make sure everyone feels informed, empowered and supported. Whether you need advice, a friendly space, or want to join local events and workshops, Trade is all about helping you live your healthiest, happiest life.

Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre
The Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre is a safe, supportive hub for LGBTQ+ people across the county. Offering everything from social groups and wellbeing services to workshops, drop-ins and community events, the centre is all about creating connection and belonging. Whether you’re looking for advice, friendship, or just a space to be yourself, the centre is here to uplift, empower and celebrate every part of our diverse community.
